STABILIZER LINK

The car’s Stabilizer Links are part of the Steering & Suspension system. The are attached to the stabilizer bar (a.k.a Sway Bar) which is connected to the wheels. The function of a Stabilizer Link is to prevent a car from swaying away from its course as it turns, so that the turn feels tight.

What are the signs of a bad Stabilizer Link?

Listen out for sounds that resemble metal rattling coming from below the car, especially when making turns or going over bumpy surfaces.

And look out for poor handling while on a drive. Damaged Stabilizer Links will not be able to hold on to the control arms well enough, resulting in the car swaying due to a loose steering. In the severe case of a a broken Stabilizer Link, the driver may lose control of the vehicle in a dangerous turn of event.
