The Spark Plug creates a spark of lighting in the combustion chamber in order to ignite the engine. It also functions as a tool to transmit heat out from the combustion chamber into the water jacket of the cylinder head.

Watch out for symptoms of faulty Spark Plugs.

You may experience difficulties starting the engine since the spark required for ignition is weak.

Another common sign of a blown Spark Plug is a misfire. If fired at the wrong moment, the force from the Piston will not work properly with the combustion and will produce a rattling, knocking sound, or even a bang. You will also feel that the car’s performance has reduced compared to usual.
