The Pitman Arm is part of the steering system in car. Aid by the Ball Joint and Idler Arm, its motion enables the wheels to turn upon steering.
Look out for signs of a bad Pitman Arm, which may be a dangerous fault to occur while on the roads.
Take note if the steering wheel has to turn more than usual before the wheels get engaged, or the car seems to drift to either side while on a straight. If left unchecked, the issue may escalate to a Pitman Arm failure where the car has totally lost its steering ability.
