SUSPENSION ARM
A car’s Suspension Arm, also known as the Control Arm, is part of a vehicle’s Steering & Suspension system.
It is the link that connects the chassis to the wheels. The Suspension Arm holds Ball Joints that allow it to flex as the wheels roll over all sorts of surfaces.
What are the signs that the Suspension Arm needs a replacement?
Look out for difficulties in maintaining the vehicle straight while in motion. Worn ball joints or bushings in the Arm will affect the steering alignment, resulting in a need for constant correction to keep the vehicle straight.
The worn ball joints or bushings may also become loose and produce knocking sounds while the vehicle is on the move.
