CLUTCH RELEASE BEARING

The clutch system of a car consists of the Clutch Cover, Clutch Disc, Flywheel and the Clutch Release Bearing. It can be said to be the bridge that connects the engine to the wheels of motion.

A worn Clutch Release Bearing can result in damages to the other connecting transmission components. Look out for symptoms of a bad Clutch Release Bearing.

A common sign is hearing noises when the clutch pedal is being depressed. This could be due to rollers in the Clutch Release Bearing having more space in between than there should be. The rollers could have been worn out over time, resulting in wider gaps in between.

Feel for any vibrations coming from the clutch pedal as it is being depressed. This could be due to the Clutch Release Bearing is unable to line up properly with the Clutch Cover.

LUK & TOYOTA Genuine Clutch Release Bearings are available online.
